today i called the division and discovered that i have weird working hours - 8:15am to 5:40pm..that’s 9 hours and 25 minutes. they must have really done their calculations to get the maximum number of efficient working hours per day.
and, since camera phones are not allowed, i can’t use my iphone for the most part and so..i have to switch to a dinosaur-age phone?? the kind that has a tactile keypad and does not have internet access?? one solution is to get a split-SIM for one line since i’ll still have my iphone plan, but the SIM card in my iphone won’t be the primary one and so it won’t receive any texts or calls. if, outside of work, i text someone with my iphone the person’s reply will go inside the dinosaur-age phone..how inconvenient is that. people have been asking me to get the blackberry bold 9780 (non-camera) but it is $698 without any plan. no camera and at that price that’s daylight robbery. anyway i thought the blackberry thing sounded rather feasible when people talked to me about it, but now that i’ve discovered the price..also i thought that i will be able to use my iphone plan (with the 3G and all) if i got the blackberry BUT NOOOOOO i gotta pay for the blackberry internet service (on top of paying monthly subscription for my split SIM cards) if not i won’t be able to check emails and use the internet
